LoveAll Crafts Easter Egg Stencil Tutorial

The LoveAll Crafts Easter Egg Stencil set has 4 stencils and 3 masks in it. And it's not just for Easter! Here is a quick guide on how to use them.

The set:

The first 3 have notches in the top left and bottom right corners - this helps you to line up the stencils easily.

Let's get crafting!

1. Place the 3 eggs stencil on to a piece of cardstock. You can go directly onto the card you are making or onto just a spare piece of card. I'm going to do the latter here so I can fussy cut them when done and use on a few cards.

2. Colour in whatever way you want to - ink, paint, spray, spritz, colour with pencil/pens. I'm using Fossilised Amber Distress Oxide Ink.

3. Keeping the egg stencil down, place either the spot or waves stencil over the top. Line up your notches in the top left and bottom right corners.

4. Colour in whatever way you want to - ink, paint, spray, spritz, colour with pencil/pens. I'm using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink.

5. Remove both stencils and ta-dah!

6. Fussy cut and add to a card. The one I created from this wasn't actually an Easter one, it was one for my nephew's birthday...
The nest is made from Sizzix Thinlets Wreath dies and the stamp is from my stash which has been coloured in with Promarkers. The background has been inked with Distress Oxide Ink (Milled Lavender) and the Stripes Background Stencil from LoveAll Crafts.

You can use any stencil to "decorate" your egg. Here I've used a FolkArt Stencil. The Egg is inked in Distress Oxide Milled Lavender and the FolkArt Stencil is inked in Wilted Violet:

I then fussy cut the egg and added a few bits to make an Easter Card....
