Let's get crafting!

1. Place you card on the Sunbird Spark Stencils 360 board. I'm using an 8x8 inch square card.
A photo showing the Sunbird Spark Stencils 360 setup - a white piece of 8x8 paper is placed on the tack mat and the Base is placed in position

2. Put on the relevant Guide Ring - you can use any of them, but smaller rings mean more closely packed Campers.

3. Tape off the top left and right and middle camper on all of the stencils to make things easy for yourself and stop any ink from going to unwanted places!

4. Measure your stencil and mark the half way point.

5. Line up your mark with the mid line on the Guide Ring and tape down. If you're using a layering stencil it's important that the first stencil layer you use the highest stencil - the stencil layer that puts in the top of the design. This means you don't end up cutting any of the image off later on!

6. Make sure the Guide ring arrow starts at 12 o'clock on "The Base" and drawn in the first Camper. For this project I'm using the 30 degree intervals so I move the Guide Ring to each circle on the "The Base" and draw in the Camper. Keep going until you reach back to 12 o'clock.

7. Take the stencil off. Make sure the Guide Ring is pointing towards 12 o'clock and place down the next layer (body), lining it up with the biro image you've already drawn.

8. Ink with distress inks. I'm alternating Lumberjack Plaid, Kitsch Flamingo and Villainous Potion. So Lumberjack Plaid is 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Kitsch Flamingo is 1, 4, 7 and 10 o'clock and Villainous Potion is 2, 5, 8 and 11 o'clock.

9. Take the Body layer off and add the next layer stencil (metal). Make sure when you are positioning the stencil the Guide Ring is pointing towards 12 o'clock.

10. Ink! For the bumper and lights I'm using Weathered Wood. For the Centre logo I use the same colour as the body.

11. Remove the stencil and add on the final layer. Make sure that the Guide Ring is at 12 o'clock when positioning. Ink and draw in the features. I use a biro for the windscreen, a gold pen for the headlamps and Black Soot Distress Oxide for the tyres and licence plate.

12. When complete it looks like this:

13. I like to go round the sections in biro - I just think it lifts the image and almost gives it a hand drawn, illustrated look. I also hand drew hearts into the camper logo circle.

14. On Canva create a custom size image of 9.5cm square, use Amsterdam One font and write "I Adventures with you". I wanted to add in the heart myself so I left space for that to be hand drawn in. Print on a computer and here I'm using the John Next Door ***** die to cut out the image.

15. Add some foam sticky tabs and add to the middle

16. You can use it as a journal page....

17. Or cut it out using scissors and add it to a scarpbook page. The hearts are made from inking white card in the same Distress Oxide inks as I used for the campers (Lumberjack Plaid, Villainous Potion and Kitsch Flamingo) and used the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Heartfelt BigZ die.
